Location Tracking app for iPhone and iPad

Location Tracking quietly tracks the time you spend in your favorite locations, like: home, office, gym, airport, supermarket...

You will be able to configure your favorite locations and if you want to track them or not individually.

Location Tracking will also prepare a complete report for you to know where really you spend your day by day time.

Basic User Guide

The app includes three main modules:

-Current: always shows your current location. Here you will be able to add new favorite locations to your list and start tracking them just writing the name you like and switching on tracking.
-Locations: Here you will be able to manage your favorite locations list. You will be able to stop and start tracking your favorite locations, delete, modify and even create new ones from your existing favorite ones.
-Reports: will be created based on the selected favorite locations, period of time and type of reports.

Type of reports including:

-All Daily: all time intervals for the selected favorite locations and selected period of time organized by day.
-Tot Daily: total time spent per day for the selected favorite locations and selected period of time organized by day.
-All: all time intervals for the selected favorite locations and selected period of time.
-Totals: total time spent for the selected favorite locations and selected period of time.

Settings

-Second for time interval: time in seconds to consider you stay in a location. This setting tries to solve the issue when sometimes you go across one of your favorite location but you do not stay in it.
-Meters inside a region: meters to consider that you are inside a region. This is not used to evaluate the location boundaries crossing, but this is used to show your actual status in the Current module.
-Days: number of days to maintain time interval records in the database.
-Notifications: when selected you will receive a notification every time you enter or exit any of your favorite locations.

Notes:

-This app is based in Apple iOS concept of regions. This makes Location Tracking follows Apple guidelines and save battery life. But sometimes, the region boundaries crossing can be between 100-200 meters from the center of the region, what can be surprising, but we consider good enough for the objective of this app. We are already considering other options for the future in case users consider that region concept provides poor performance and poor accuracy for their needs.
-Due to the previous consideration, it is recomended not to define locations closer than 200 meters.
-This app must be running in background mode for location updates in order to work fine.
